? about DPA HMA5000

Does anyone know if this thing can be powered by DC? I glanced at the manual and did not see anything about it running on DC.

No. Half of it is a standard transformer based power supply, giving 6V, 130V and 200V to the mic end as used by different types of mics. The other half is a unbalanced to balanced converter (as the mics are unbalanced out).

Not looking here everyday I missed your question.

The DPA website has a lot of information on their products, such as data sheets and pinouts. Look at
http://www.dpamicrophones.com

I also opened up mine to look.
