I will give you my Sony Stereo mic. It was the first mic I used and I loved it at the time. It has a stereo 1/8" which lets it connect right into your MD. To the future operator of this mic: plug it into LINE IN on the MD. Then turn gain up to near maximum. This is much better than mic in, which may tend to distort at high levels.
The mics has an excellent stereo image (choose narrow or wide) and is great because it is just "point and shoot". No fuss at all. You can also EQ a little bit to bring up the bass and treble, but it sounds just fine stock.
