ISO u89 market foam windscreens
« on: April 20, 2006, 02:16:45 PM »
Hey all
Im looking for a pair of these, maybe someone knows of a place to score them online.
Im talking about the thick foam ones, I have 1, but need one more

Thanks
Seriously, the band makes the music. Tapers just point mics in the right direction and hit "record".

That's good to hear!  The last patcher I had complained about my AKGs, fluffed schoeps for about 15 minutes, stayed patched in, and farted on me all night long.
rig: Neuman u89s > Lunatec V3 > MT(24)/JB3(16)

Um, in my room, one seam is a little off and I stare at it constantly. It's, like, destroying me.

Gonna be tough for someone to help out if you don't know what they are.  Post a pic?

That's good news - means it's easy to track down a matching screen.  :)  Best price I found in the US was Jack's Music Store, ~$36 + shipping or so.

Sorry about the cross thread but Brian I got a pair of screens just like this w/ my TL's and was wonderin' how good they would work on a real windy day. Still thankin' about makin' rat skins before HSMF but wasn't sure if I need too.

Heh, well...you'll have to ask someone else - I've not used mine, yet!  I got 'em because the thin stock windscreens (more like pop screens) didn't cut it at RockyGrass last year.  I'd start a new thread, probably get more feedback that way.

These are sold -- pending payment.

I have a pair of Neumann WS89 Windscreens available.  They are new in unopened packages.  I want $55 for the pair shipped -- including PayPal fees.  PayPal or USPS Postal Money Order only.
