Edirol R-09: Fast forward and rewind with sound?
«

Last year, I had the chance to play around with the Edirol R1 and I
noted, that one doesn't hear a thing, when one fast forwards or rewinds.
How is it on the R-09? If one can hear sound, does this work for MP3 and
Wave files?
Thanks

Yes, playback works during FWD & RWD. If FWDing for longer period's you may have short dropouts in the sound while holding the buttons down, probably due to buffer issues. This may also be related to the data transfer speed of the memory card used. But yes it works.
