Also, if it were me i would try formatting the card with windows then try putting it back in the R-09 and format it again.  IMHO that would be a good test just to see if will straighten up and it sure couldn't hurt any!

I thought a number of people on here have said not for format the card in windows before using it in the R-09.


My R-09 came with 1.20 on it.  Just for the hell of it I went back through the menu again and re-formated the card and it only took a second or two.  I have another brand new Transcend 4GB SHDC card that I'll put in tomorrow and format and time how long it takes.



Oh wow man I hope that isn't going to cause you all any troubles, I have formatted mine in my machine a few times and it hasn't caused any issues.  Too much living room testing is NOT a bad thing.   8)

I formatted mine in the computer, but reformatted it in the R-09. It records fine now on the 4GB card! I'll have record without external mics for a few weeks, but that's cool. rWc3523
