Can anyone recommend some good right angle XLR adapters?
« on: April 30, 2010, 12:16:30 PM »
I'm running DPA 4021s which have fixed cables, so I don't have the option of just buying new cables for them. I'd like to have right angle connectors so I could leave my littlebox sitting facing up at the bottom of my bag without stressing the cable connections as much.  I figure the easiest way is to buy some XLR(F) to XLR(M) right angle adapters.  Does anyone have a particular brand they like and a recommendation for a place with a good price?  I'm sure B&H has the right thing, but I'm hoping for guidance on specific brands, stuff to avoid, etc.  Thanks.

I use breakout cables to connect to my R-44.  I could make a set to do the same for your little box.

ditto on the stubbie breakout cables (except I left the threads on my female stubbie ends) . I do the same thing with my pre and just leave them connected all the time since space is at a premium in my gear bag.
