Microtrack failed firmware upgrade...

Friend of mine out of state bought two, one upgraded file, the other failed, and now will not boot at all. Does anyone know of a way to reset it and maybe get it to try upgrading again?

on a side note, my friend called M-Audio, they told him it was a known issue and it would cost him 100$ to have fixed..  rriiiiight..

$100 for what?  Isn't it under warranty?  Are you certain they didn't think he wanted a new battery or something (since that could cost around $100)?

yes is brand new. unknown on what they wanted to charge him 100 bucks for a known issue.. pretty crazy to me!

Your buddy got threw to M-audio? I was on hold for well over two hours until I just gave up. My time is worth much more than $20 for 2+ hours to exchange one of those 10db pads. First try only one chanel worked..go figure.
