I am using XP. I have a d8 plugged into an Audiophile USB. I can't get a signal from the dat and I believe everything is set up. I tried using samplitude and soundforge with no success.

Stank, did you make sure you have the Audiophile set to the correct sampling frequency (48k or 44.1k)?
Also, did you configure SF or Samp. to make the Audiophile the correct input?
Does the computer recognize the USB card?
