Topic: Iriver ihp120 ? UA-5 ?

Hi everyone have a couple of mostlikely stupid questions about some new gear I aquired.
I recently gotten a ua-5 & a iriver 120 I was using a tcd-100 and a sbm-1. I would still like to
use my tcd-100 as a backup I have the 7-pin Oade and the orignal 7pin optical cable.
Need some info on cables to hook these together.

I think all I would need is a Toslink to mini Toslink adapter & a  Toslink cable.
or do they make a toslink to mini toslink cable?
also what rockbox software should I install I was reading a couple of threads but didnt fins any links to the software. Any ohter info anyone can input would also be helpful about settings of the UA-5 that work best.

I would add that if you're going to get an optical cable that you do not go the cheap route.  I bought the monster optical THX I100FO.  Great cable about 20 bucks. 

I originally bought a cheapo cable and suffered from lost samples.
