Iriver H320 Problems (New Owner)
« on: May 20, 2007, 02:00:51 PM »
Just picked up on these and am trying to get it setup for recording.

Problem is it doesn't show in My Computer. Could the USB cord be bad or something? It shows that is connected on the H320.

Any assistance?

Check to make sure you are connected to the "data" usb connection (the h320 has both a "media" and "data" connection).

Tried a different cable from walmart, brought it into work, crossed my legs and patted my tummy while whistling a ditty and still no dice.

From the research I have done over on misticriver looks like a dead battery. It is in a constant loop of going from black screen to the blue iriver screen but never getting past that screen. Bummer. Of course it turned on when I met the guy. But it had a low charge. Once that ran down with me fiddling with the settings no more worky.

Claude on the board is selling me his H120 though and when I get around to it I will see if I can rehab this H320.

there is a very simple trick that worked for me: connect it and when it's done press quickly 2 times the Play button.

uhm... tried charging it?

if not, install a new battery. Not really that easy but misticriver has some nice photo-guides....
