Minidisc "lock error"
« on: June 03, 2007, 12:28:27 PM »
I have a sharp md 722, while recording last week (damien rice) my MD would not eject, i lost the recording ect.  So i went home and took it apart, removed the external eject button, leaving access to the actual "gear" that ejects the disc, put back together, and it reads, plays fine, but when i hit record it says "lock error"

the only info i found on the web said the eject button was pressed during recording or playing, turn off and remove disk and try again.  which i have done, no luck.  any suggestions ?
