saw a listing on my company's yardsale board for an "Edison disc console phonograph"... tempted to call and ask for pics!

but he want's $350 for it.

cart ..., depends on what you want to spend.  $99 to $9999 is a good range to start in.

I wouldn't sweat it honestly, the Rega's are so popular & you can find a re-wire kit easily enough of higher grade wire. Consider it an upgrade worthwhile!
I know you like, tape for people's approval and stuff, and wave your tapes around like they're your dick...  but even you can't actually think section tapes from philips sound good.

Yep, we can only do Sunday though. Just picked up my balcony tickets yesterday. I am running the same rig as you in fact. CK1x with a PSP2 into my 702. Should be a blast!
