I have a few 'bad switches' and need to find the following switches for the psp2...
Apem
25139-LD 4pcs
25149-LD 2pcs
25136-LD 2 pcs
25136-NLD 1 pcs pwr switch
Vark Audio is working on the unit, but they say they can't find the switches w/o having to buy "thousands" does anyone have any recommendations ?
rather than replace the switches, could they possibly put everything other than the power switch into a "permanent" position?
for example... make the preamp permanently:
-mic in (no need for line in)
-48v (no need for 0, 12, 24)
-35 mic sensitivity (you can bump levels with the 744t or 788t
)
-0 rolloff (you can edit in post)
-0db gain (again, you can adjust with the 7xx)
it'd make the unit more like the m148. we both know you never sell anything anyways, so no worry about resale value. hell if the unit is in bad shape, maybe you could take a stab at getting the gain structure replaced/modded with knobs like the psp3.
ps - any chance of getting them to snap pics while the unit is open and taken apart?
