I don't know if this has been posted here, but it looks interesting.

The original post is in Polish, but I reckon that the mod deals with minimizing interference and digital noise.
Maybe some Polish TS members can elaborate?

Btw, what happened to that 600Hz noise that appears when the H4 is running on battery?

Is it still there (pre-mod)?

If the translation is right, apparently Zoom didn't do anything on the hardware to solve the problem. So the mod still goes.
