We're OK with dicussions based around gear. But discussions around techniques have lead to problems - so, we appreciate the understanding.
While I'm not here to divulge any secrets/ideas, I will say that if you attempt anything new, I don't recommend trying on your home turf. Getting caught a couple of times sort of flags you as the guy to check. Go to some other city and try stuff (preferably far away so there isn't much cross-pollination between staff or venue owners). It sucks to drive, but it improves your long-term chances. Good luck.
