great suggestions.  let me also suggest some tent stakes for your stand.  pick up some cheap metal ones and you should be set for any festival.

yep stakes are a must! the savages are a bit bulky but i've never had a problem with the 2 i have. don't think i've ever gone over 8 or 9 feet with it either.
