Topic: Panasonic DA7, Your thoughts?

Is the Panasonic DA7 a good or bad piece to have?  What makes it good what makes it bad?  If this is bad, what would you recommend?

While I concur that Gearslutz might be a better forum for asking this question, you really shouldn't judge a piece of gear you've never used simply based on its age. 
By your logic, a lot of very highly regarded and well known microphones and preamps would be obsolete as well and we all know that's not necessarily the case.

The DA7 is still very much relevant and viable today.  The preamps are outstanding and the A/D converters are still quite good.  The Ramsa preamps will hold their own against most anything out there and still stand quite well.  It has full automation, recall, motorized faders and can be used as a control surface.  I've owned 3 of them in the past and would certainly own another if my situation called for it.
