Taper Alert: Obama Speaking Near Ratdog Show Tonight

From the good folks at RatDog Central regarding Tuesday night's show: Because President Obama is speaking at the Hammerstein, which is in the same building as the Grand Ballroom, everyone attending RatDog will have to go through Secret Service metal detectors/screening to come into the building. If entry is slow because of the chaos we will stall the start of the show to accommodate but everyone should be prepared for the searches.

(taping gear bags are going to be thoroughly searched. I have tix to tonight's show. I want to bail out now. Anyone want a cheap ticket that I can email to you? Paypal will work)

I recorded Obama at a campaign rally stop at Target Center last year. Golden Smog was playing at the event so I brough gear. I didn't have any issues bringing it into the show and security inspected the gear bag.
