Microtrack II DMA recommended setting?
« on: October 02, 2009, 02:16:39 PM »
I know I've seen this in a post somewhere, and I've been searching for over 10 minutes, but it seems maybe "dma" is too short for the search engine?

Anyway, is it recommended to run with DMA on or off?

I'm using an older Kingston 4gb 45x card, and an older Transcend 8gb 120x card.

Both have these have worked flawlessly with my old MT, and I'm just hoping for the most stable out of the gate with out having problems...

TIA!

My MTII froze up when doing 24/96 coax from the Apogee Mini Me when the DMA was in the On position.

I turned it off and have had no problems since
