How do you position and attach Schoeps capsules on a cap? I was thinking of using MK21>KC5>CMC6>V3>SD722 for stealth which I've used to do in a tall bag before. I was successful every time except once (my last time) when I got caught (the artist manager got the security to call the police so it was such a dreadful experience - and there's more to it but for this tread it's not practical to tell the whole story). So after that experience I'm seriously thinking of putting my capsules in my cap and running the KC5 cables down by clothes and pants into a bag containing my gear on the floor well away from anyone's view. Anyone got pictures of how they attached the Schoeps capsule in or on a cap? You can send me photos privately if you want. Thanks!

PS I've use my Nbox with my M10 a few times before but I still prefer the the sound of my CMC6>V3>SD722 rig for stealth.

You could purchase the larger Sony bit bucket with the optical input to eliminate some of that bulk (unless you're using the A>D on the 722).

Please tell the whole story....I'd love to hear what the cops had to say.  Were you running on a stand?

When I can't wear a hat (e.g. symphony), and the rows aren't elevated in a tiered fashion (school multi-purpose room), I go for someone I can hang my coat, but that only works in the winter...

The absolute worst situation and one I would have to resort to wearing mics on my shoulders or lower would be at a symphonic show (no hat, or at least out of place), where there are no seats, just one GA level, in my home town where people at the show might know me (not security, just random people), I'm alone, and the lights are on. Everything else I think I could pull something if I was motivated, especially if I was willing to plan ahead and had a little help.
"This is a common practice we have on the bus; debating facts that we could easily find through printed material. It's like, how far is it today? I think it's four hours, and someone else comes in at 11 hours, and well, then we'll... just... talk about it..." - Jeb Puryear
