I'm looking for an inexpensive set of mini omnis and saw this at the Sound Profesionals site.

http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category/110/mics

I'm wondering about the PART#: MS-BMC-3

Any opinions?

  • You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
I noticed them the other day as well (along with a retrofit deal for existing SP-xxx mics). It looks to me like this is a brand-new product, so I don't think we'll find out much unless/until someone takes the plunge.

i just sent in two sets of SP-TFB-2 for the retrofit deal and I think they are the same microphones.  hopefully i'll get them back in time for the Rob Zombie/Murderdolls/Monstrer Magnet gig in a couple of weeks [express post] .  should give them a nice workout :)
