Shire L93 Lav Hookup

What is the cheapest way to hook up a L93 Lav to a Tascam DR-2d?  Believe it requires phantom power.  Can I just buy or build a battery powered phantom power box?  Would their be enough gain this way? Is there another portable and cheap solution?
