Topic: Taper Culture Project Help

Hello All,

I am currently an undergraduate student at Niagara University and am in my last semester. (Actually last few weeks).  I have a big final project that I have been working on all semester and it revolves around the culture of tapers, its process and procedures, as well as the process of trading.  I choose this for a project because it is such an intersting aspect and really under-appreciated form of communication and sense of community by others outside of this realm.

I am looking for any person that has taped or still tapes shows, to answer a few questions through e-mail.  I am looking for information on the history of the process, personal experiences, what the process is like today, you're views on the good of taping, you're thoughts on music piracy, and the music industry today.  It would be an enourmous help and would be a great experience for me to learn from the pros and people that make this process work.
