I checked this a couple of weekes ago while making a 4 track.
metering changes during recording when dual is pressed
monitoring does not

Thanks for the confirmation.
FWIW, pressing DUAL during playback switches the output back and forth between the mic-in and line-in files, yet always reverts to the start of the other file.
