I just ran a completely unscientific test with MK41's>TB>M-10. Roughly 23 hours powering MK41's with an n-box-capable box in to an M-10.

4 Hour charge time.

I have a pair of mismatched[one grey mk41, one nickel mk41] pair for $1,200.00/Shipped to the CONUS ;) And I would suggest the NBob custom Actives since they can make them to your EXACT specs ;) That will run you under $2k for sure. Add a Tinybox and youre just a hair over $2k ;)

Though substantially more costly, you might find the "V" series caps a little easier for stealth. The MK4V have a preferable sonic signature for taping to the MK4; the MK41V supposedly have the same response as the MK41.

But I mean, lots of people stealth with MK41s…. just takes a little more doing hat-wise.

Love how the guy by the tree looks at the Schoeps caps and thinks "Big, Pretentious and expensive". :p

TB, M-10, and MK4's attached to Schoeps Collette connnectors + quarter for scale.

Please note that the cables are actually NboX cables with genuine Schoeps Collette connectors and not NboB cables. The Nbob actives use custom-machined connectors in place of the Schoeps Collettes. The Nbob "Collettes" are slightly longer than the stock Schoeps Collettes by a few millimeters, if I recall correctly.

But don't let that slight difference deter you. Unless you are doing extremely scientific measurements in extremely controlled environments a few millimeters, or inches for that matter, won't be audible. Unless your hearing is on par with a bat.
