Any suggestions from the tapers running or have previously owned CEMC6s'? Links to suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I use Shure A81WS screens outdoors! and DPA Screens indoors. I am also very fond of the Rode Dead Kitten fur screen covers. They fit over the DPA screens perfectly ;)

It depends. do you need it for a fixed position, or do you wanna move around while recording? Also, how much wind protection do you need? You're stormchaser?

For fixed setups you could go for a Rycote Miniscreen or Softie, and clamp the mic to a stand or something.
When moving around while recording you should get a mic suspension, a basket type or Babyball cover, and wear your wind-protection over it (furry or shorthair).
But that solution could get pricey, like twice that of your microphone.. Foam covers only protect from the lightest winds.
Note: the filter & attenuate knobs on your mic could pass through some wind, you could use a little gaffertape to seal off.

I disagree. I have been using the "bigass shures" aka Shure A81WS screens for over 10+ years now! and I must admit! wind has never really been a problem with me. I've recorded at red rocks in 2001 all the way to torrential downpours, and the bigass shures can def hold their own! As always, YMMV tho ;)

Best of luck bro!

I'm really happy with them, fit and function is great.  They're very well made and have been worth the money IMO.
