td, no harm done whatsoever in my opinion.
And probably the company ought to update and extend the "Product history" pages anyway--their coverage ends 10 years ago with the original shotgun, whereas the later, digital variant with the second capsule and the built-in DSP is a huge step forward and has become quite important in the film/video industry (it has high directivity at mid and low-mid frequencies as well as high frequencies; with conventional shotguns, the narrow pattern starts only in the upper midrange). Plus more recently, they came out with a lovely little microphone designed specifically for vocal soloists, which effectively combines the best features of large- and small-diaphragm capsules for that purpose.
Those products aren't so useful for the kind of recording we talk about here, but they're a big deal for their respective markets, and for Schoeps as a company. And they wouldn't belong on the "Schoeps Classics" site, which is really about products that aren't made any more (plus some items on that site were prototypes that were never in production, such as the "Zippy the Pinhead" version of the CMTS stereo mike).
For that matter, I know of a few more items that I think belong on Bernhard's site. Let's see what his current plans are, and maybe I'll bother him about those.
