Modding an Oade 7Pin

Not real happy with the stiffness of the cable.  Because of the way I have my bag laid out, I end up putting a lot of stress on it.  If I could get it modded to use some more flexible cable it would be great.  Is that possible?

sell it and buy the pro dig one....i did and havent regretted it.
