Current ear protection suggestions

So, what is everyone using for ear protection these days?  Alpine Hearing?  Etymotic?  Eargasm? EarPeace?

I need to start using some, but don't want to pay over $30.

I'm happy with my Etymotics.  They were $20 and have held up to some punishingly loud metal shows.
