I've never been tempted to remove it, but shall format it at the (+T) advice.

I seldom need to use card memory, anyways. The m10 seems to hold plenty for me at my preferred 44.1/24 rate.

That is a good idea to try an M2 card (Sony mini memory stick form factor)
