I stumbled upon this video about taking photos with an iPhone using an app that allows you to use an external flash.  If you are interested in photography, you will probably enjoy watching this.

I've almost quit using my regular camera. I usually only use it for telephoto and flash photography.

This looks interesting...but a little pricey.
