I have a Beyer m130 and m160 m/s set. Dang, they sound good and I have many other m/s sets.
I have a shapeways clip that is similar to that one where the one microphone is at a 90 degree
angle to the other microphone. There is no earthly reason why they should be perpendicular to each
other rather than parallel. It takes up way more space and is harder to hang. I wish I could find a
parallel mount for the Beyer m/s set.

Because they are strips of aluminum. They are at right angles if parallel. The mics have orientation/alignment dots on them.
