Sennheiser MKE2 cables
« on: March 19, 2026, 08:13:14 PM »
I have Sennheiser MKE2 mics without plug - so blank cable ends.

Anybody here who already soldered plugs on these / made a pair themselves?

Can someone help me out on how to solder them to a 3.5jack? I have red and blue (and obviously a ground) and I just wanna quick and dirty put a 3.5 jack on them.

Blue & Copper shield should be tied together (Ground) and the red acts as both your bias and return audio wire.  So, if you're wiring them to a 3.5 stereo connector (tip, ring & sleeve) it'll be red to tip with blue & copper shield to the sleeve. No connection on the ring.
