JBK, I'm unclear: Are these two recordings (house recording and yours) from different sources? Or same source, one cloned from the other?
If different sources, I think you'll want to merge them together with a crossfade in an audio editing program. Otherwise it'll sound...well, bad, IMO.
If the same source, one cloned from the other, CD-Wave may allow you to simply cut up the tracks accordingly, but it'd still be easier in an audio editing program that allows you to zoom in. Zooming in, you'll be able to cut at precisely the proper sample for a seamless connection from one track to the other.
