what kind of place is this that you are recording in? I find indoors that the mk4's don't sound all the good. I prefer the mk41's in doors, way more off axis attenuation, less chatter, way less room noise. If the rooms you are in sound like crap, which most do, don't run NOS with the mk4's, run them DIN....but if most of what you are doing is indoors, trade the mk4's in for some mk41's, but I also suspect you are having other issues. Post some samples so others can help.
