EVERY soundcard made by Creative Soundblaster is a piece of crap.  THrow it in the garbage before you ruin anymore music...

Read this:  http://www.etree.org/faq_dat-cdr.html

The easiest thing to do is:

DAT>Bit Perfect Soundcard (see etree link)>recording program (CDWave is free)>CDWave (tracking)>WAV

Check out the Seeding Guidlines at wiki.etree.org.  They will help you lots...

A live concert to me is exciting because of all the electricity that is generated in the crowd and on stage. It's my favorite part of the business, live concerts.
