I see lots of mention of Burr Brown ADC's and DAC's these days. What is BB so special for? Are there certain desireable sonic characteristics? If so, what are they?

I know a lot of us were talking about putting it in a DMIC-20 which has Analog Devices SSM-2017 chips in it. Overall, the specs on the Burr Brown chips were just better
