House Party question 2...

Ok the band plays in one big room - and there are three adjoining rooms...just doorways...so of course a good bit of the sound gets out...

but

One idea that I want to try -unless someone can advise against it...is to run my tape feed through the house to the home stereo(s) in the other rooms...just to add some bite and presence...would that actually work...?

I would keep it pretty low...just fade it into whatever is leaking from the band room...

-- - -plus I think I have enough TVs to run video feeds into the adjacent rooms also!

whoa, whenever we have house parties we try to hide all the valuables and keep the tv and stereo out of the way as much as possible.

well..beer spillage....it's a given...I think we steam cleaned last year.

I have huge arsenal of "disposable" mid-fi junk...so if it gets destroyed in the line of duty...no problem...lightens my load.
