Need help getting gear in for Mule 2/25
« on: February 22, 2005, 06:24:52 PM »
I got a ticket, but its not a taper ticket.  Can anybody out there with a taper ticket help me get my equipment in?  If you can give me a hand please drop me an email.  My rig is pretty small so it wouldn't be that big a hassle:

ck61s>actives>jk labs dvc> mod sbm-1> d8

Thanks to anyone who may be able to help.

I don't know man.  If you read the disclaimer on muleticketing it says that for reserved shows tapers will need a "taper ticket" to bring gear in.  For GA shows it doesn't matter.  I just don't want to get stopped at the door by some security person.  Does anybody have a taper ticket?  Does it actually say "taper ticket" on it?

I got a "taper" ticket for KC show.  Its the same ticket as everyone else, ie no gear checks.  But a taper ticket references a certain section.  For example all of the tapers were in row "L".

I can say that this isnt implemented at all shows...the raleigh show last october had no taper tickets, no section, and was tape from your ticketed seat

and security is not going to know this regardless. besides, isn't the point of that rig you have to be stealth and to be able to sneak it it? :p

I don't think Mule informs the venues about Tapers tickets so they don't even know to look for them at the door... I really wouldn't sweat it at all.

Yes there is a taping section and yes you need a taper ticket..................security is tricky sometimes at this evnue...sometimes its old relaxed ladies other times it a guy snoopin through your bag making sure you have the right ticket.............................but yes I had to get a taper ticket

My understanding though is the theatre is only half sold at this time.........unfreakin believable......only show in Pa..at a real nice theatre and it doesn't sell out.......I don't get it..............I know atleast two other tapers that got taper tickets besides myself and we are going together..........I'll help if I can but I can't spot twenty tapers rigs!
