the new Shanling SACD deck.  personaly, i dont care for its looks.
I love the T-100 and T-200 though, those were much cooler looking.  This models looks like something my kids would play with.
I've always wanted to hera Shanling products.  They make a killer looking (on paper) integrated amp.  Its 50wpc, class A w/burr brown chips in its built in DAC.  takes 24/96.  I bet it smokes for a small room.  I think its only a grand too.

Anyone read on Audioasylum that SACD is dead ?  Also DVD-Audio.
I think CD with 24/96 FLAC is the next new thing        ::)

I haven't been impressed with the Shanling stuff, IMO it's overhyped.  I heard the CD25 that was all the rage for awhile, and it was... ok.  Ditto for the T100.  Certinaly not bad for their price points, but nothing special, either.  In fact, I'd pick multiple players over either that I heard.

That is not to say this one sounds bad, tho, I haven't heard it and can't comment.  I wouldn't be plunking down my $7k to try, tho!

If I had a budget that big, I'd save tons of money and buy that sony 9000 player.
Stereophile A+ recomended on every audio format it plays.  can't beat it.

I just did the same thing...but mine said "We currently can only ship 6", which means they actually sold 2 of these!

FWIW, shipping for the 7 they do have is $573!!!!
