The DPAs that regularly sell on eBay with the lemo connectors - would they work unmodded with an SXM2/LS2?

The Sonosax has 2 seperate lemo inputs as well as the Schoeps KCY input...would it work?

Looking at the specs on the Sonosax I would say no unless there is something I do not see regarding mic voltage, as it seems to be putting out 48V. Which = bad for a DPA 4060/4061.

I'm 98.2% certain that you need to step don the voltage.  I think the max they run on is 9v dc.  I'f you're familiar with how the at853rx power modules works, I think it's the same concept, you'd need an adaptor to step the voltage from 48v down to the appropriate voltage or you'll fry them.

A wide range of connection adapters makes it possible to use the 4061 with close to any professional wireless system available plus 48 V phantom.

dpa sells phantom power adapters for the mini omni's.... I have the microdot to 3pin xlr 48v adapters....

Guys - Nick was asking about using a Lemosax (SX-M2/LS or /LS2), NOT a standard 48v phantom powering SX-M2.

I doubt that it will work, mainly because I would expect that if the device could directly power 406* mics, there might be mention of that in the manual.  They're very popular and have been around for a long time, and powering them would make the SX-M2/LS(2) a more versitile tool.
