Optical amp and JB3
« on: July 24, 2005, 11:55:45 PM »
My problem with my opti input to the jb3 got me thinking...

First off, is there such thing as an optical amplifier?  Something to boost the brightness of the optical signal?  I read in a different thread where people would have issues using a passive optical splitter to run two jb3's off of one source, but if the signal was boosted you could do it.

And, I wonder if there is such a thing and it worked then maybe you could more successfully run the jb3 when doing a 96kHz recording?

hmm....
