In my experience, Len doesn't respond to emails... never had a problem getting a hold of him on the phone though. CS customer service is pretty poor I've found. I've ranted about CS before, about how I was jerked around and will never deal with them again...
I'm guessing your dpa's are terminated in a 5-pin mini-XLR connector, right? What I did with mine, was to physically cut this off, and send the mics back to dpa (via my local dpa distributor, search around on
www.dpamicrophones.com) and have them re-fitted with a pair of dpa microdot connectors. I also bought a dpa battery box.
At the time I didn't realise, you can actually power the dpa from a SP battery box. So, what I
should have done was to chop off the 5-pin mini-XLR connector, and replace with a 1/8" jack plug, then I could have used it with the SP battery box I already had! (And, I would have saved a ton of $ into the bargain). If you're handy with a soldering iron I'd definately recommend this route.
+t for your troubles
