Mic Buzzing problem, Do I need new Mics?
« on: September 18, 2005, 05:31:25 PM »
Thanks to everyone for the advise on my last post. I went to a show yesterday and did the line in and everything worked out great. The only thing that was going wrong was in the middle of the recording there was a buzzing sound, it appears throughout the recording. I recently noticed that my left channel is cutting out do to what appears to be something wrong with the cable near the jack. The levels never really got up there but I don't think low levels could cause this. I added a small sample of the buzzing for all you to check out. Please let me know. I've got a fest this week and if I need new mics I need to order them ASAP.Thanks in advance

Cheers,
Matt

make sure the mics are plugged in really well too.  That's an easy source of noise.
