I've seen them (my brother has a single, designed for a headset mic). They are the smallest mic in existance I think. Probably comparable to a Senn MKE2 or something in sound, but I haven't actually heard them on music. Let us know if you try them.

It's entirely possible that the element is the same as the Sennheiser...
I'm sure the element is smaller than the Senns. It is 2.5mm in diameter!!!
I am wondering, but have no evidence to confirm it, if this uses an element made by Knowles Acoustics. They claim to make the world's smallest mic, in a bare "aluminum can" form, that is 2.5mm in diameter also. This element is called FG-3329 (I think) and is available at $25 from Digikey.com. *But* the element is so tiny that noone can even solder to it! Some people at micbuilders were playing with this, but I haven't any results back.
