HELP!!!
« on: June 24, 2006, 11:39:16 AM »
I just installed the latest version of WinAmp on my computer.  In doing so, whenever I open a folder with music in it it shows the little wave icon for everything.  So now I don't know which is a wave file and which is a flac file.

can anybody help me get the flac file icon back.  I know it has something to do with file associations, but not sure how to change them.

right click the files, then click "open with" , choose flac frontend and then tick the box "always use this action for these type of files " etc..

I use foobar as well, but it has no bearing on what I was asking.

also in any folder you can go to

tools > folder options > file types

there you can change what opens what,  what icon is displayed etc.

oh yea and foobar rules ;)

Not to be a pain in the ass, but threads with subject lines like "Help" aren't very helpful when you're scrolling through the board. Try something like "WinAMp Help" so we know what it's about.
