I would think that the stock screens should be more than adequate, inside of a hat (?)

The B1 or B5?

The B1 or B5?

The B1 is a thin foam dust cover.  The B5 is a popscreen, not really a windscreen.  The former will fit inside a hat, but not prove effective against wind.  The latter will not fit easily in a hat, and also will not prove effective against wind.  The only effective windscreens I've used are all way too large to slip into a hat.

Back in the days when I still had my CCM41's I used a pair of light duty windscreens that I picked up at Radio Shack. The screens were a bit long so I trimmed them down and wore them under my kangol. Never had a problem.
