Thanks, Mikey!  I dig it.  It's nice to be able to run the V3 & 722 off the same power setup. 

so do/will you use this setup for every show or just longer shows and festivals? how much does that pelican weigh with those batteries in it?

does the battery meter on the 722 still read fairly accurately?

I'm going to use it all the time.  It's similar to Fozzy's setup in that I won't have to mess with recharging after every show.  Most of the stuff I record is only a couple hours, so I can go many shows without recharging.  I haven't measured the pelican with the batts, but batteryspace.com says the batts are 7 oz./each.  Pelican's site says the case is 0.7 lb's.  So it's just under 2 1/2 lbs. total.

I haven't done extensive testing with the power setup yet, so I can't answer the battery meter question.  I need to play around with it a bit.

i bet the batt meter still works fairly good. it works fine on my external setup
