format 8gb flash card

As usual, forgive my ignorance. I am a waiting my P2, sceduled for delivery today... I was just playing with my flash card reader for cpu, I hooked it up via usb, with a 8gb card
The cpu see's it fine, i "draggd" a file over and then deleted it, fine.
what software is recommended for formatting?
microtech gefell sms 2000, MG 21 & 20 & 27 caps >
M148 (with new ext battery) > acm P2 (2 of them)
Nbob active cables / PFA, Nbox Platinum

format the card with you hd-p2, it is in the menu

format the card with you hd-p2, it is in the menu


That's what I usually do with my 'P2. Generally only takes about 10-15 seconds to format on the 'P2. When I need to move the files to a computer, I plug the 'P2 into my Powerbook via Firewire. I do have a card reader I can use if need be; but I use the Firewire connection primarily for transfers.

I say some sortware for formating and I wasn't sure if i should use it. I did format via the P2 and it worked fine
