Lookiing for something to replace NBJ 3
« on: March 18, 2007, 05:30:05 PM »
Ok I'm looking to get something to replace my nbj 3 (it got stolen) but there are so many devices now to choose from, any input would help.  I'm looking at

Microtrack
Edirol R9
Korg MR1
Zoom-H4
also liked the look of Marantz PMD 660 - Oade Brothers Advanced Concert MOD

Any body have any idea how they work in the field and which would work better with either my Sony ECM791 or SP-CMC-8 and battery box. Also it needs to be easy to use in the field, if it could be pre-set and just press record when there would be good (that always bugged me about the nbj).  I'm not very technical so noothing to difficult. I'm also based in the UK so would prefer to get it from there (although I don't mind ordering from the states I have to pay import duty so this is also a consideration).

A six pack a day, that's all we ask.

Neumann skm140>ACM Oade PMD660
or Oade Mod R4
